Where are you located?
My studio is located in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. For outdoor session I have several favorite locations that we will go over when booking. All session includes 25 miles round trip from Pardeeville, WI anything beyond these miles a fee will be added.
What days of the week do shoot on and schedule your sessions?
Newborns are held Monday-Thursday at 9/10:30am.
Milestones are held Monday-Thursday anywhere from 10am-1pm.
Family/Maternity sessions are held Monday and Tuesdays to allow wiggle room if needed to reschedule due to weather. Outdoor sessions begin 1 hour before sunset unless if it's gloomy we will bump our start time earlier. (Keep in mind we do in live in Wisconsin and the weather changes very quickly.)
What types of sessions do you photograph?
I photograph maternity, newborn, baby milestone, motherhood and families.
What's your style?
I love to capture intimate, natural & organic moments that will create a lifetime memories. I will take a few posed family portraits, but mainly focusing on real life moments with your family and prompting you to interact with one another. Don't worry, I'll guide you every step of the way!
How long does a session take?
It all depends on the session you booked.
-Newborns can take anywhere from 1.5-2 hours.
-Mini Maternity and Baby milestone take 25 minutes.
-Family lifestyle, Motherhood, Maternity take 45min- 1 hr.
What should we wear?
I offer a client closet to mamas and newborns. Once you are booked and on my calendar, a welcome email with my prep/style guided will be emailed to you to help you prep your family before your session.
How do I print my images?
I always recommend Mpix or The Camera Company (West Side of Madison).
What's the best time to book a newborn session?
Please book your newborn at least 2-3 months before your due date as I only take on 5 newborns to allow rescheduling. Once baby is born I ask all my clients to notify me within 48 hours to arrange a date and time that works best for all parties. Newborns are best photographed within 10 days to 3 weeks of being born.
Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally?
Yes! I highly recommend treating yourself to getting your hair and make up done. I also recommend getting a manicure or having clean natural nails as I love getting close details.
When will you deliver my gallery?
2-3 weeks or sooner.
Everything sounds great! How do I book a session with you?
First be sure to review my pricing and packages, then fill out my contact form. Once we settle on what it is your looking for, we will go over a date, time and location and then you will be sent a link from my booking site to complete, fill out a questionnaire, sign a contract, and secure your retainer fee. Once this is done you are all set and on my calendar!
