Where are you located?
I am located in Sauk City, Wisconsin.
What kind of photographer are you?
I'm a mixed between a lifestyle & posed photographer. Most of all my sessions are captured during real life moments even during the chaos. Most of my posing is done with my newborns during their session. My newborn sessions are a good mix between lifestyle and posed and are all lead by baby.
What days of the week do you shoot on and schedule your sessions?
Studio sessions are held Monday or Tuesday at 9/10:30am
In home sessions are held Monday-Thursday at 10/10:30am
Outdoor sessions are held Monday and Tuesdays to allow the remaining of the weekday as backup if needed to reschedule due to weather. Full sessions begin 1.5 hour before sunset unless if it's gloomy we will start earlier. Petite sessions are held 35 minutes prior to a full session.
Where are newborn sessions held?
Newborn sessions are held in studio. The studio I use is located in Cross Plains, WI. I rent the studio hourly when needed for an indoor session. (There is no extra cost for having your session in studio)
What's your style?
I love to capture intimate, natural & organic moments that will create a lifetime of memories. I will take a few posed family portraits, but mainly focusing on real life moments with your family and prompting you to interact with one another. Don't worry, I'll guide you every step of the way!
What should we wear?
Once you are booked and on my calendar, a welcome email with prep & style guide will be emailed to you, to help you prep your family before your session.
How do I print my images?
I always recommend Mpix or The Camera Company. (West Side of Madison is my favorite location)
What's the best time to book a newborn session?
Please book your newborn at least 2-3 months before your due date as I only take on 5 newborns a month to allow rescheduling if needed. Once baby is born I ask all my clients to notify me within 48 hours to arrange a date and time that works best for all parties. Newborns are best photographed within 10 days to 3 weeks of being born.
When will you deliver my gallery?
2-3 weeks or sooner.
Everything sounds great! How do I book a session with you?
First, ensure to review my pricing on and packages. Secondly, fill out my contact form. Once we agree on what it is you're looking for, we will proceed to review a date, time and location. Once confirmed, you will be sent a link from my booking site to complete, fill out a questionnaire, sign a contract, and secure your retainer fee. Once this is done you are all set and scheduled on my calendar!
